Johney triin and i are in Lijiang - concert tonight, tiger leaping gorge tomorrow, cycle ride to 4000 meters in teh next few days to Tibetan horse festival in LItang and then into the chillie land of CHENGDU for some street music action. JAZZ WORKERS UNITING. Then to japan for some rethinking! Hope to be back in europe to smash christmas with new mongol cakewalks! Yah! Onward trusty metal steed!

wie es so kommt man will in rudolfstadt von einer bühne zur nächsten bühne und in den straßen bei den straßenmusikern stecken.
da hat es sich auch gelohnt was zu verpassen.

hi there guys,
when you fellas coming to bemuse asia. triin and me make a huge crowd just setting up to play in the street! literally dozens of people before we even play a note, then when we start they all walk away. I have learnt to have a nice long look and smile and then shut my eyes so i dont see the rather sad exodos each time.
we are armed with swords, bananas, beijing street cleaners costumes, fake moustaches and rollerscates to take on Laos! lots of love and hope you can make the amazing festival all over laos and thailand all march and april ...and mayjune july infact. It is a huge festival with pretty much as much free delicious food as you can eat for free, tropical sunshine in a splendid scenery, hiliarious local live theatre acts and attended mostly by really nice rice and vegetable farmers! see you there?

Yo guys,
Been checking out where the circus could be right now- either in the mountains or by the sea around georgia. How are you doing Flow & Talis. When is the next Cd coming out or are you busy writting an opera. I cant wait for some new summer sounds to get me through. At the end of summer I will be coming over to visit. Let me know if you guys are going on tour. I don't have much news except I went to Japan with my mum in april. Wow, really beutifull country. The temples were fabuulous and the weather great. The trains are like lightning but they are really smooth. There were too many people in Tokyo but the cafes were really minimalist and slick. Coffee is sold everywhere and in hundreds of different cans in vending machines- More than coke. I have got a bag of japanese Flocken for the museum collection.

yeah - i think david is coming back to berlin to rinse with you guys - we travelled together for 10 days - what a dude. I really got on well with him. he lost the bet about me getting back together with Lotty - I cant remember what we betted for - i think it was he would have to get really ill on the guitar next time we saw eachother!!! and now i dont need to buy him a coffee.

that is rod steward, Sleepy ed and yours truely - all dressed in mega smart belgium gendarme uniforms curtosy of an closing down cosutme studio: rod steward has the most stripes so hes the boss: What a time - we all got girlfriends after our second show, i have keys to a flat in the centre, the city is exquisite, the choc block plentiful, the busking minty, the people lovly and entirely crackers, the life just fantastic. We keep on saying we are going to leave next monday but I dont see it happening - hello from pietn - he is a drunk dude leaning over my sholder in this bar where everyone has been drinking since last night and are sloshing around in the morning sunshine that creeps into the onslaught of smoke and sweat of this morning dive.
Hope to see you guys in cyprus but i think we will be making a slow journey there. How long will you guys be staying there?

I hope to be arriving in berlin in mid january when we really ought to have an exhibition! It is a quite fascinating collection now and I am sure it is the worlds only!!!! I am laughing at the updated site- fantastic...Just got back from a trip to switzerland. I was leaning on a very expensive mercedez putting on my gloves with a book on the car roof. It was a hot day in this remote quaint town in the swizz alpino's- a tram rolled past lazily, a women stood with her dog on a lead on the pavement snoting in the mountain air. The lilting sound of footsteps trudging making a noise in the snow like the muted sound of pebbles beign sprinkled on a beach. I got a tap on the shoulder and a man dressed in shabby clothes - greasy trousers and dodgey haircut indicated that i was leaning on his sparkling car. I was shocked to see someone so dischevelled acting like I was not even worth talking to- So switzerland has many strange and faces... It was like the whole trip seemed to be constructed for us- everything worked perfectly. However in the town I did spend 10 minutes asking a farmer for directions to a building that was directly behind me - I am glad i did not heed his grand gestures over the valley ravine when we parted and continued looking in the same area. Now I am back at university working on a hotel design- Any one have any ideas for a themed hotel??

I'm the Italian guy who played at the Neu Bohnen in Schlesisches Strasse. The owner ask me about you and the band. It seems like they are looking for bands to play concerts there...he ask me if you can pass by and bring a cd. I think it's a great idea and I'm sure you will swing the place up!

happy new year from berlin! If you´re still in Crete you have to check out "souya" its a great beach in the southeast of the island - quite near to paleochora - if i remember the name right! I´ve been there with nicki in 2001 & it has been awesome!

guys I am in Crete, a greek island / it is sunny today - may go swimming or maybe just hang out in my t-shirt playing hot jazz by the port or walk up the mountains. I will be here for a month or so and then I go to Turkey. Do you want to come down - it would be great to see you all!

Sthlm is good but we got no snow or ice so I am in uppsala finishing courses in political science, and adam works a hotel night clerk in sthlm. in one month i go to madagascar to find out about forest bee pollination of beans. but then sometime in the summertime i pop down for a visit.

I really like the update. You guys are all welcome in glasgow with a place to stay. Nice work Mr Motion. I intend to learn some scottish folk songs - they are real fun. I have heard some bands playing celtic music in pubs and it is a long improvised session. I am looking forward to meeting up next year.

Ihr habt auf eurer Startseite in der Haferflockenausstellung eine "Quaker" Packung. Ich habe in Marokko einen 78 Jährigen Amerikaner kennengelernt. Er sagte, dass die Angehörigen seiner recht kleinen Glaubensrichtung umgangssprachlich als "Quaker" bezeichnet werden. (Ich meine damit nicht die Computer "Quaker"). Übersetzt heißt Quaker - Quäker (etwas naheliegend). Die Quäker sind total pazifistisch, wehren sich nicht mal, missionieren nicht und urteilen auch nicht über andere Leute. Schon interessant, das es eben Haferflocken mit dem Namen gibt...
